In preparation for the opening of Dorchester School District Two's new high school, Ashley Ridge High School, opening in August 2008 -proposed attendance line changes for the three high schools have been developed by district staff.  As a very important part of the process of changing attendance lines, public meetings are scheduled at the two existing high schools, Summerville High School and Fort Dorchester High School.  These meetings will allow parents and community members to hear first hand about all changes being proposed and to ask questions or share comments. The school district hopes to present the final attendance lines for consideration by the Board of Trustees on May 14th at the board meeting.
